Holden Commodore 2019 Tyre Size, Wheel Specs, PCD, Centre Bore & Torque Guide | Adelaide

Overview

The 2019 Holden Commodore (ZB generation) marked a major shift from traditional rear-wheel drive to a modern front-wheel drive / AWD platform. This change also introduced new wheel fitment specs, making it important to choose the correct tyres and rims for performance, safety, and compliance.

At Autosport Tyreworld Magill, Wingfield & Clarence Gardens, we regularly supply and fit tyres for ZB Commodore models including LT, RS, RS-V, Calais, and VXR.

OEM Tyre Sizes (All Variants)

Depending on trim level, the 2019 Commodore comes with several factory tyre sizes:

  • 225/55R17 (Base models)
  • 245/45R18 (Common mid-spec – LT, RS)
  • 245/40R19 (Sport variants)
  • 245/35R20 (VXR performance model)

OEM Wheel (Rim) Specifications

Variant Wheel Size
Base / LT 17x7.5
RS / RS-V 18x8.0 – 18x8.5
Sport / Calais 19x8.0
VXR 20x8.5

Typical factory setup:

  • 18x8.5 ET40–45
  • 20x8.5 ET49 (VXR)

Bolt Pattern (PCD)

  • 5x115 (Most ZB models)
  • 5x120 (VXR only)

Important:

  • Do NOT mix these — wheels are NOT interchangeable between standard and VXR models.

Centre Bore (CB)

  • CB: 66.9mm – 67.1mm (approx)

For aftermarket wheels:

  • Use hub-centric rings if needed
  • Ensures vibration-free driving at highway speeds

Wheel Offset (ET)

  • Typical OEM offset: +35 to +48

Recommended aftermarket range:

  • +35 to +45 for flush fitment
  • Lower offset = more aggressive stance

Wheel Nut / Bolt Torque Spec

  • Torque: 110 – 140 Nm
  • Recommended: 120 Nm (standard workshop setting)

Always torque using a calibrated torque wrench — especially important for alloy wheels.
